WHAT IS TRAFFICBUILDER™?
TRAFFICBUILDER™ is a highly effective agent awareness and traffic generating program for new home builders. It achieves this by offering the continuing education courses real estate agents need to renew their license on site at a special, discounted price, combined with breakfast or lunch and a tour, which you, the builder, will provide. Our experience is that the combination of meals, onsite CE and low class prices is a big draw for agents.
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
You decide the date, time and place of the class and the maximum class size. We provide the instructor, advertise the class, report completions to the appropriate commissions and answer questions from the agents. Agents sign up and pay for the class themselves on our web site. The price the agent pays depends on whether you chose to subsidize part or all of the cost. In the absence of a subsidy, the price to the agent for a three-hour class is $32.00 (vs. $42.00 regularly), and $17.00 for a one and half-hour class (vs. $21.00). You may put a limit on the number of agents you will subsidize, e.g., the first 10 that enroll.
HOW MUCH DOES TRAFFICBUILDER™ COST? MUST I GUARANTEE ENROLLMENT? IS THERE A FLAT FEE OR CANCELLATION FEE?
There is no cost to you other than that of the food you serve and any sponsorship you decide to offer. You are not required to guarantee enrollment or pay a flat fee or cancellation fee.
WHERE MAY CLASSES BE CONDUCTED?
The class may be conducted in any location conducive to training which complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, meets applicable fire, safety and zoning codes and is not subject to disturbance by potential buyers while the class is in session. Examples are, a club house, community room, the project sales office or one of the models.
WILL PDI PROMOTE THE CLASS?
We will advertise the class on our website, list it in our class schedule, post it on our Facebook page and promote it to our email database of agents whose license is coming due for renewal, typically 1,500 per month. We will also promote the class in our monthly newsletter, which we send to approximately 50,000 Maryland, DC and Virginia agents, brokers, and associate brokers. These marketing efforts not only serve to promote the class; they also promote your brand. There is no charge to you for our marketing programs.
MAY I ADVERTISE TO MY OWN EMAIL OR POSTAL LISTS? ON MY WEB SITE?
Subject to our approval of the copy, you may advertise by any means for DC or Virginia credit classes. For Maryland classes, we will provide a template which conforms to the advertising requirements of the Maryland Real Estate Commission.
HOW MUCH LEAD TIME IS REQUIRED TO OFFER A COURSE?
We recommend two weeks.

PDI Has Approval for Dozens of Mandatory and Elective Classes.
PDI has received approval for dozens of mandatory and elective continuing education courses for Maryland and DC real estate agent. Most of our courses will also be accepted by reciprocity by the Virginia Real Estate Board. By contrast, most other schools offer a limited number of course titles. After a while these limited offerings lose their appeal to agents. Being able to work with a school having approval for numerous courses is especially important if you intend to offer classes frequently or in many locations.
Virtually No Demand on Your Time.
You can schedule, cancel or reschedule a class with one simple email or phone call to us. All enrollments are done directly by the agents on our web site or by calling our office. We handle all record keeping, reporting, refund requests, etc. We will coordinate with you and inform agents of any changes in scheduling due to inclement weather or other reasons. Once put in place, the program practically runs on autopilot.
No Financial Risk.
PDI does not require a minimum enrollment guarantee or charge fees of any kind. No advertising fees. No cancellation fees. No flat fees. No fees for assistance in developing an outline. Nothing. There is no cost to you other than that of the food you decide to serve and any sponsorship you decide to offer.
No Add-on Fees or Onerous Cancellation Procedures That May Discourage Enrollment or Tarnish Your Brand.
Some schools give the appearance of having lower class prices, but nickel and dime agents with extra fees for charge card payments and completion certificates. In some cases, these fees can exceed the cost of the class. Some schools require a long lead time and written notification for a refund, effectively resulting in a no-refund policy which can cause resentment and give your firm a black eye. Our class prices are all-inclusive and our refund policy and procedures are fair and simple. Agents may withdraw from a class without penalty up to one business day before the class. All it takes is a phone call or email.
We Will Seek Approval for Classes You Want to Design.
We will be happy to provide guidance to you on the proper format and submit it for approval. Modest charges will apply if the approving jurisdiction imposes an application fee.
You Can Easily Check Class Enrollments.
Real-time information on enrollments will be available to you 24/7 through a special, protected account we will set up for you on our site. This will allow you to accurately determine how many handouts and how much food to provide, and how many people you may need to conduct the tour. E.g., to avoid overcrowding you may prefer to conduct the tour in groups while viewing the models.
